The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation is urging people to get on their bikes to help fund research into type 1 diabetes .
The JDRF has organised the first Great Malvern Cycle Challenge to raise money for type 1 diabetes . The charity fund-raising event will take place in the Malvern Hills and include two different cycle routes.
The first is a more relaxed family-friendly 20-mile route, whilst the second is a 65-mile route for the more keen cyclists. The JDRF is hoping for an attendance of over 200 people.
Regional development manager Joe Nunn reportedly commented: "I hope plenty of people, both young and old, from around Worcestershire will come and join us for what promises to be a fun day out."
Diabetes.co.uk would like to wish the JDRF best of luck in organising the event, and if any readers would like to contact the diabetes charity please visit the link below.
