Diabetes.co.uk is in full support of all the diabetes events due to happen this year, and the organisations that work to create these events.
We’ve included all of the events that we think could be of use to people with diabetes in the UK - including World Diabetes Day, Diabetes Week not to mention our very own Around U Soccer Skills Day.

Around U Soccer Skills Day takes place at Aston Villa after the success of Liverpool and West Ham in 2009 for children with diabetes.
Around U Dance Day: Pineapple Studios
More than 40 children will enjoy an energetic day in the internationally renowned Pineapple Dance Studios in Covent Garden, London.
Diabetes Junior Cup
The 4th International Diabetes Junior Cup Football Championship supported by JDRF involves hundreds of boys and girls aged from 6 - 18.
First Aid Awareness Week 2010
This year's First Aid Awareness Week is focusing on sporting injuries and how to treat such injuries.

Meeting the Quality and Productivity Challenge in Diabetes Care
Venue: 76 Portland Place, London.
Charied by Anna Moron Director NHS Diabetes, this one day conference begins with a keynote presentation focusing on the national service framework for Diabetes: six years on. Released on 16 February 2010 Six Years On: Delivering National Service Framework updates progress made since the NSF for Diabetes was developed in 2001, setting out national standards of care for people with Diabetes.
