4.5 this morning.
Spoke to my DB nurse last night. She advised me to keep dropping my overnight lantus until I get a reasonable waking level (which is what I was doing anyway). So down to 10 units tonight and see where that takes me.

4.8 despite munching on 2 clementines at 10.30 last night which was a nice surprise.
Post-stroke diagnosis of Type 2 diabetes July 2011.
HbA1c July 2011 - 8.0.
HbA1c September 2011 - 6.5.
HbA1c November 2011 - 5.9
HbA1c April 2012 - 40 (5.8 )
HbA1c June 2012 - 37 (5.5 )
No diabetic medication.

Currently controlling by diet, (although prescribed 1 x 500mg Metformin at diagnosis)
Av. fasting 5.6 (lowest 4.6)
Lowest + 2 hours 4.6
B.M.I. Currently 22.5
HbA1c 7.8 > 7.2 > 6.6
Learning about 'carbs'

I've been in the low 5s all day for the past couple of days. 5.6 this morning.
