Hello people
Im new to this trying to control things, i have been seeing my nurse very regularyly and we think we are getting there it goes off again.
Basicaly i am on levemir background but take it twice before bed and first thing, sugars been a bit up and down it seems that sometimes my sugar dips before bed and sometimes before dinner, but recently it has been ok before bed and ok in the morning but by lunch its 15 which is far too hihg, its really worrying and scaring me but not sure to take xtra levemir in the morning as it may cause it to dip, really getting sick of this up and down it should be easier than this surley iv been monitoring this and eating healthy not alot of carbs now for bout 5/6 months and i feel im no further forward,
Anybody any suggestions or had similar problem xx
thanks x

HI
I am wondering whether it would be worth talking again to your nurse regarding you being put on 4 injections aday.
Fast acting three times aday, may be small doses and levamir at night. This can sometimes give you a better way of controlling your BS levels. Keep checking your BS.
Just remember we can only offer advice we aren't doctors, we can only go by our own experiences.
Take care
Tracey

My B/S is high in the afternoon but my Dr more concerned it's to high in the morning and not coming down. But by the afternoon it can be 19+. Go talk to your nurse again though if your worried about it manda pops.
