I LOVE cured fish, and up until being diagnosed T2 I would make my own Gravlax most weeks
Side of salmon
half cup of sea salt
Half cup of light brown soft sugar
tablespoon white pepper
1 bunch fresh dill, chopped
Splash of vodka or aquavit
So short of building my own smoke house to get my fish fix, do you think I can cure with a powdered sweetener?
Diagnosed: T2 10/2012
Medication: 500Mg Metformin (x3)
Diet: Lower Carb

Hi. I used to use sea trout. I didn't use any sugar, but did used to use a very large slosh of brandy. not sure but I think its the salt and brandy that does the curing.
