I have awful toilet problems - diarreah - whenever I eat bread, rice, pasta, potatoes, refined junk etc. that's what I actually went to the drs for when they ended up diagnosing me as prediabetic. They did the blood test for coeliac disease, which came back clear. When I asked if I could have the biopsy, the dr said no as the blood test came back negative. She said I must just be wheat or gluten sensitive and I didn't bother following it up as I know what I can and can't eat and so long as I don't, I'm fine. It would be interesting to know what it is exactly and whether its linked. Either way I just seem to be allergic to carbs.

I've got a colonic booked for tomorrow night so I'll see if I feel any better after that (if they deem me suitable and do it).

After sitting waiting for advice from medical persons about diverticular disease I have just had my December appointment.I saw someone I'd never seen before who was reading the last results...had no idea why i'd gone in the first place but just said he'd book me in for the next scan for end January and 'you're not diabetic are you'!, seemingly confused when I said I was.As he was saying that was it I happened to mention that I was still waiting for someone to look at my other symptoms with my stomach bloating etc.Immediately said it was probably gastropareses to do with diabetes .They're going to include it in the next scan and have a look.
Can't believe everything takes so long to do and very little info or support at all.
Just wanted to thank everyone on here for at least offering advice and support.Once I've had scan I'm going to ask if I can see a dietician to see if they can put me on the straight and narrow with regard food.

Just wanted to thank everyone on here for offering advice and support.Hope you all get to have a really happy christmas .
Still living life as it comes....

Fingers crossed that I'll reincarnate as a sloth in the Western Isles ....preferably in calling distance of another reincarnated sloth.

Everyone needs a dream...it's the getting to sleep first that's hard.
