Ketostix - Ketone Detection from Bayer

Product guide written by Diabetes Expert: Sue Marshall
Ketostix
Product:
Ketostix
Manufacturer:
Bayer

Ketostix is a Bayer product that is used for ketone detection. It detects ketones from your urine and is an alternative to testing your blood.

Similar to Bayer's Diastix, Ketostix changes colour depending on the level of ketones found in your urine. Colours range from a beige to deep purple to display level of ketones in your urine.

Good for children

They’re excellent to have on hand for a quick check, and can be good for children – saving on a finger-prick.

Packs of 50

Ketostix reagent strips for detection of ketones in urine come in packs of 50 and are available at pharmacies or online for just over £4.

Hi David, they're available from the Diabetes Shop on this site. Click on 'Diabetes Shop' in the top menu and they should be under 'test strips' in the shop.
