Singing without the book

Published by Resurgam in the blog Resurgam's blog. Views: 372

Luckily I was writing down my songs when I started to take the statin.
I had always had a list of the songs I sing, written down as I went along, so chronological order.
As I was getting on a bit, I decided to make a book of them, the versions I sang, for posterity. Then I found I had forgotten them. I was at over the three hundred mark by then, so I could still sing them, as long as I had the book in front of me.
Last week was the third anniversary of diagnosis, so I decided to sing a song I remembered when at the Sunday afternoon folk club - it isn't even in the book, so I ought to add it, really. I was slightly apprehensive, but it came easily to my mind - I plan to do the same again at the next meeting.
I only took the statin for a month or so, but it wrought havoc.
