I have a friend who has had type 1 diabetes since he was 9, who has always said the hardest part of it was when he was a child and newly diagnosed. Especially: carb counting, finding it boring, understanding diabetes, finding being injected uncomfortable and it being hard for a parent to know how to take care of him.

The other day some girls that were meant to be my friends have said some stuff about my diabetes. It's really upset me because one of the friends know how I feel about it. I'm not sure what to do because it's really hard to forgive them but what they said was horrible and they told a group of other people as well. Please let me know if you have been through this and any tips.
