Over the past two weeks I've done my bloods for my hba1c, insulin and cholesterol.
So I had my dsn review today, the results as follows;
Hba1c, 37
Cholesterol. 4.2
The bad one 0.7.
Insulin, normal.
Liver, kidney function, perfect!
BP 114/76
Pulse 64.

According to my dsn, I am in perfect health.

Gotta be proud of getting those results!

Woo hoo!

Hi
congratulations on the overall result

Would you mind posting your trig and hDL levels please ? my theory is that it would have been well over 1 when iagnosed and has gradually been better all the time you have been doing LCHF

Also did they give you a number for insulin -2-25 is "Normal" - 2-6 is "optimaL" the 25 i a function of how much carb there is in the average diet. So its interesting to see where the lowcarb diet is taking us all. ( min improved from 20=> 8 in the second 6 months since diagnosis )

Sorry @CherryAA the information you want I haven't got.
Ldl 0.7.trips I assume would be around 2.0(?)
But , the answer is yes my cholesterol has improved greatly since being very low carb.

I have no form of reference other than high at diagnosis because of hyperinsulinaemia and normal now. I didn't think to get a read out.
As I was too chuffed to think clearly (and relieved!)
