    How is the porcine insulin going?
    Our son hopes to change to Bovine in mid January.

    Oh -- I'm so sorry I only just saw this! I didn't know you could get messages here.... ! It's probably too late to reply, but I love porcine -- much gentler / longer acting which suits me.... but know it doesn't suit everyone. Hopefully you're all settled now :)

    39 years ago when I became a Type 1 the Hospital put me on Porcine I was Very Very Ill for two Years,My
    then Consultant Tried me on Bovine which worked within "3 DAYS"

It's probably too late to reply, but that's really interesting -- I thought they were very similar but seems not! I've loved porcine -- much gentler / longer acting which suits me.... but I'm about to (possibly temporarily) switch to novorapid again for a pump start up on Tuesday! Fingers crossed....
