    Set change day spikes

Hi Nometype1andproud did you get any answers with your problem? I get similar problems, I change early evening, after dinner, but through night my readings hit the late teens or occasionally 20 BG, not coming back down till morning. I also rotate sites. I've been on pump 4 years now, but this...

    Help with New Pump choice

Hi Tracyann35. How are you getting on with your choice? I am currently on the 640g, but admittedly have just ordered a Tandem t-slim as my replacement through the hospital. I don't know the accucheck pumps, but I can say I had no real issues with the 640g (4 years). I never used it with a CGM...

    Tandem T-slim, Medtronic 670 and CGM's

Thank you everyone for your helpful inputs on this subject. I've made my decision on the T-slim and ordered it today, training session is booked for middle of January. So I've no doubt, I'll be back on just after this, for more help[emoji2957]. Hopefully I can also give some feedback for others.

    Tandem T-slim, Medtronic 670 and CGM's

Great, thanks for the details. I'm thinking I may just take the plunge and go for it. I appreciate pumps are personal and everybody will have different thoughts on them, but maybe it's just a case of getting used to it. [emoji846]

    Tandem T-slim, Medtronic 670 and CGM's

Thanks Chas C . One point I noticed a few people mention, was that there was a lot of button pressing to reach certain features / menus, and that on some of the screens, it 'timed out' quite quickly with no options to extend this. Have you noticed this? When I first started on the 640G, I...

    Tandem T-slim, Medtronic 670 and CGM's

Valid points searley. I did think I was being a bit too hopeful with the Libre 3 [emoji28]. I will compare the CGM costs between Tandems option and Medtronics. Although I was more in favour of the t:slim, after reading a few more reviews, I now have a few reservations! Decisions to make! Thanks.

T-slim for imminent Upgrade or stick with Minimed?

Thanks for this feedback LizLola, very interesting, particularly about the Basal part. I'll check this out a bit more I think. For the battery, like MeiChanski mentioned, I had read that a suggestion was to carry a small portable charging station with the pump that you can connect to and leave...

Medtronic 640--issue with high BG after set change

Hi Capt-Slog I too get very high BG's after doing a set change; I read some other posts of people saying they went high but was thinking I must have issues because I get up to the 20's!!! I get very frustrated / angry but eventually realise it's not helping. I'm sure I shouldn't be getting this...

T-slim for imminent Upgrade or stick with Minimed?

Hi Lizlola - I am also currently on the 640G but due to change in December; I have also been looking at the T-Slim and am seriously thinking of changing to this one. How are you getting on with it compared to the 640? One of my main reasons will be for possible future use with the Libre 3 (???)...

    Tandem T-slim, Medtronic 670 and CGM's

Hi Tracyann35 did you make a decision on your pump? I know you were thinking of the 640G, did you have any other choices? What pump are you currently on?

    Tandem T-slim, Medtronic 670 and CGM's

Thanks for your reply. Yes, the NHS delay is the one big drawback. I understand it has to follow a lot of approval actions etc, but doesn't help those who it would really benefit. Fingers crossed anyway, I may take the plunge with T-Slim and hold out for the Libre3.

    Tandem T-slim, Medtronic 670 and CGM's

Thanks. I wondered if it easily got caught up in anything, or would you keep the pump in waist pouch and tuck this in to that? Sorry if these sound daft questions, I'm just trying to visualise it. I currently keep my 640G in a Hid-In waist pouch which covers the connection on the pump, with...

    Tandem T-slim, Medtronic 670 and CGM's

Thanks for this. I'm still yet to make my decision, but am still possibly thinking T-Slim. I do notice the tube connection is not connected directly to the pump, but is a loose connection on the tube- do you find this an issue?

    Tandem T-slim, Medtronic 670 and CGM's

Thanks @h884. Do you use the 670 wit or without CGM?
