Reading on the internet it should be a fasting test and meds stopped in order to do the test. Also a shot of glucagon given in between two blood samples. Xx

I think you need to see a GP asap. If you ring 111 no doubt they will advise you to see a GP or other Medical Professional. I find low cal Ginger Ale really helps me when unwell and tummy related. X

I have managed to control my diabetes by diet alone until recently when bg readings increased considerably and stayed that way. GP put me on SR Metformin but when a week later my 3 month average was more than when diagnosed she has now added Gliclazide which has brought my bg down dramatically...
