I took Gulvus for 5 years and also suffered from blocked sinuses but after the nightmare of metformin it seemed a small price to pay .

Just received 5 pots of test strips and guess what they are batch S0318075 ! I will now have to test along side my Caresens to see if any major difference. This makes the Codefree no longer a cheap option for strips .

I have been monitoring mine a lot lately as my bloods are due in 2 weeks and I so want to prove to my diabetic nurse that low carb is the way to go and mine are still high at 2 hrs but by 3 hrs I’m usually back to where I was before eating. I suppose we are all different .

The code free has been in the cupboard for months and I got it out to do the test . I never bother changing the time etc it’s the number on the large display I’m more interested in .

I have both of these meters and they usually give similar readings. I took these together on same drop of blood
