    Dislikes:
Diet drinks - the artificial sweeteners taste vile.
Having to forswear foods I have loved all my life.
Trying to find low carb meals when eating out.

    Signature

    T2 - diagnosed March 2008.
Diet and exercise have worked up to April 2012 - now added Metformin to try and get BG even lower.
Pravastatin 40mg for the cholesterol now discontinued due to side effects.
Metformin 500mg twice daily for the BG control suspended whilst I get my weight down below mid point of normal BMI.
Back on the Metformin again over the winter of 2014/2015 because my weight loss has stalled.
Still on Metformin in 2017; up to 3 * 500 mg per day.
Weight just below 12 stone so still not at target of 11 stone 7 lbs.
One bit of good news: last HbA1c was 5.8!
