    Supermarkets Have No Low Carb

Low carb food are present in the aisles, but aren't marketed as that. For ready-made preparations, the fact is that sugar is a good preservative and tastes good, so it's used a lot, because is also cheap. On the other hand low fat milk is cheaper than wholemilk, so it's better to use it for...

If you are in a chocolate store to buy a gift, and the cashier offers you a free chocolate,

I have had a similar problem. My supermarket has a lottery running to attract customers: You buy more than 10€ from a list of products and they give you a ticket. I have won a jar of jam as a consolation prize, thai I gave to my dad. Problem solved. By the way if it's a 72% or 88% bitter...

Going out for a coffee with friends.

Do you know? This afternoon I've eaten a couple of Chantilly pastries. It's not an optimal thing to do but sometime you could do it. The problem is when you normally eat too much or too much sugars and starchey food. You'll start to increase again your weight.

Going out for a coffee with friends.

Exactly. From my experience if you in a coffe order a coffee and sparkling water the bartender is ok, it' better if you ask aslso for a cheese and sausage selction or the like, and nobody is really interested in the exact menu choiches.

Going out for a coffee with friends.

A not posh place. Ok. I think Starbucks has the "Americano", that is drip coffee. I have tried once in France and is ok. In Italy, even in Turin thre are a lot of coffee, actually there are a lot of coffee factories like Lavazza, Vergnano, Malabar, San Francisco and some coffe houses that are...

Going out for a coffee with friends.

I suppose that one in a coffee will drink coffee, and it's normal to ask for artificial sweeter instead of sugar. I don't know what kind of coffee you're going, but on a lot of them I have seen that they could serve ham or cheese. For instance a really posh coffee and ice parlor in Turin...

    Ignorant people

Ignorant is normally used as a slur, bur literally means that one doesn't know something. So it's possible that people are getting wrong conclusions because they don't know anything about a subject. There are a lot of people that don't know nothing about Raspberry Pi. I have know a lot of...

    Diabetes snobbery

Recent research had found that three are at least five type of common Diabetes Mellitus, not to mention LADA, MODY and pancreatitis one, and the gestational diabetes. By the way a lot of condition with similar symptoms are called the same, and causes and cure are wildly different. Take for...

    NHS Dietitian Contradicting Himself

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ontology From what I undestand "remission" (and remissione in Italian, both are coming from Latin remittere) means that the symptoms of a condition are lessened or abated. So if the symptom of diabetes, the blood glucose level, is in the normal range, diabetes is...

    NHS Dietitian Contradicting Himself

I think the problem is that there are a lot of fad diets, or diets that become fad if explained wrong, like the Atkins diet. Actually I think that a diet explained wrong, because is on a tabloid paper and the like, is a fad. Now operators in the public health have to follow the published...
