Eat low carb and go for lots of walks. That seems to be the key :) May 15, 2017

One month since I discovered I have diabetes. A new way of eating, lots of walking and medication - my 7 day average is down to 5.6mmol/L :)

Thank you - Certainly less hungry - looking back over the winter I had really been eating a lot - snacking a lot all evening

Hi Polgara. Its lovely to see your posts. Fantastic work on your bgs. Are you now on metformin or are you on no meds at all for bg control?

I've been taking 500mg SR met for a week - upped it to 100mg today. But I got a big drop in BGS before starting the met
