    Hi I was just wondered if anyone had received cataract surgery with blood sugar of 11.

    My mum has pancreatic diabetic and has managed with treatment to get her blood sugar down from over 30 to now about 11. She can hardly see a thing due to cataracts to the point it is now getting dangerous for her at home. (taking her medication, not being able to read best before dates and working the oven etc) but the diabetic nurse, doctor and surgeon all seem to be putting off surgery.
