@ChookSpinach bread and lamb kofta sounds lovely- do you have a recipe for the spinach bread?
I agree with you entirely. The ones I bought from supermarket went in the bin. Thanks for info.Without a doubt, the deep fried ones are much nicer, so I agree with your grandson.
But I don't (and won't) have a deep fat fryer, so I do them in a little coconut oil.
Either way is nicer than those weird pre-made abominations that are sold to be oven cooked.
B: peanut butter mug cake
L: broccoli & stilton soup with coconut flour flatbread

Did an interesting experiment today with Cadbury's Dairy Milk. Wanted to prove that it was bad for my BS levels to keep me on the straight and narrow, as I did with bread a few weeks ago! So BS level before eating 50g choc was 6.3; 2 hours later was 7. I was expecting it to be much higher than that. Does this mean I'm able to eat ****** chocolate but not bread?!!
I did test after 3 hours too and BS was down to 5.6! To be honest I didn't enjoy it nearly as much as I thought I would. It instantly made my mouth very dry - just as well I had a cuppa to handI think it might mean it could have been interesting to test for a little longer. The fat content of chocolate can delay the rise and fall. I hope you enjoyed it.
