There are a million articles on the web, low carb, high carb, low gi, low fibre, high fibre, high fat, low fat the list is endless. Eat to your meter. Get an HbA1c better than six. Eat fresh meat and fish. Stacks of vegetables and some nuts and low carb fruit, berries are good. Get an hours exercise in every day, walking and swimming is good. Then, LIVE A LIFE.

Well, I wouldn't quite call it news. The article is 4 years old and beta cell transplants have been available for quite some time.

Hello guyz
I think its very helpful for Diabetes. And tnx read my topic :D
Being newly diagnosed is scary and very overwhelming and yes, life changing.
All of a sudden you have all these things to think about and daily rituals (testing your BGLs and injecting insulin) to get used to.
I know this may sound like a cliche, but you just need to give yourself a little more time to adjust to being a diabetic.
The people on this forum are very helpful and experienced, so don't hesitate to ask questions about anything you may want to know / share.
You're not alone sweety, there's quite a few of us out here (even my nephew Adam was diagnosed at age 6 (he's 7 now and doing really well, he's playing sports, swimming and having fun at school).
After the initial shock of being diagnosed and getting used to the idea that being a diabetic is now a part of who you are, there is no reason you can't live a full and happy life.
Thank U agin

Hello my name is Mary. The past three years I have suffered with a hacking cough which became very painful July 2015 my GP was under the impression that all would be well after o had a sinus opetation for the second time. This happened in April 2015, it did not help. Currently I an seen by six different specialists they base everything on what they think not what they can prove. I am currently being tested for Dibetic Inspidus which I seem to be experiencing most of these symptoms but I feel like I am being pushed back and grow without any of them taking the responsibility.
I'm amazed at finding this website all the useful o formation a website that is actually doing something instead of just throwing leaflets at us.
It seems to me these days a persons age is weighed up against any tests that may be required with medical opinion of how long they are likely to live.
I hope this message is readable as the font is very small and pale in colour so different to read back
