Type 2s: What was your fasting blood glucose in a morning? (very low chat level)

Good morning Fellow Sufferers! 6.9 yesterday and having discarded the first reading, 6.8 fasting today! Sunny here again but cold in London.

There are lots of carbs (63g/100g sugar) in dates. They would cause most peoples BG to spike.

. @jonbvn. Hi yes I know there's lot of sugar/carbs but just fancied dates, dates are full of goodness, lived abroad for 20 years & I ate dates most days, just fancied some.

Dates are exceedingly high in carbohydrates unfortunately.
