8.8, had greek lamb cassarole last night must have been the rice and potatoes :-(


T2 diagnosed 10th Oct 2016 no symptoms
10th Oct 2016 - wt 200lbs HbA1c 54 BMI 27.4
Feb 16th 2017 - wt 175lbs HbA1c awaiting next blood test BMI 24.4
Play 5 A-side football every week

Not always the case. The morning rise is very common, even type zero get these, they just have the correct insulin response to deal with the rise. It occurs naturally to give the energy required to rise from our slumber and start the day, but without the correct insulin response it cause a rise in blood sugars for diabetics. The rise you are referring to is known as the symorgy effect
