Hi i have been on lantus for a month and have also just bern put on novarapid as well. I have a party saturday night and any advice please

if you're gonna drink be careful with the insulin bc the alcohol will lower ur BG, personally i don't eat nor take insulin while drinking but i'm a bad role model

i once fainted twice bc i was totally ignorant at that time..

What will you be drinking alcohol wise?
Is there food laid on?
Will you be swinging your trousers?
I would recommend you take your meter with you and test as often as possible and have jelly babies secreted about your person.
Oh and don't forget to enjoy yourself!

Are you on fixed dose of Novorapid or do you adjust it according to the carbs you eat?

Ok, so I'd aim to eat a similar amount of carbs as you would at home.

You might find the cider puts your blood sugar up, so wine might be the easier option.
