One thing I would like to ask all you experienced guys on the forum ..... when I feel 'hypo', as in fuzzy/lightheaded and nauseous, my blood readings are always higher, as opposed to lower. My dietitian says its the 'liver dump' thing happening .... so how can I ever get my lowest sugar readings for my endo? Maybe I should test an hour after eating as opposed to 2? They usually go up higher (in the 7's) when I've not eaten for 3 or 4 hours. I dunno, it's all too hard!
Not sure I understand. I have not ever had a hypo *touch wood* as it is a symptom of very low bg. Perhaps you should keep a strict diary for a few days of what and when you eat and take meds and exercise. If it is indeed a liver dump due to going too long without food, a little snack might help.

I am going to give up trying to make Brie puffs now as making Brie puddles is not good for my blood glucose levels :arghh::spitoutdummy: Brun very kindly gave me a recipe guide with photos the other day and I have still managed to screw it up :bored:

New dinner plans: Now defrosting some husky bread and will have large chunks of uncooked Brie on thinly sliced bread while watching the opening ceremony...with all the windows open and my feet in a bucket of water. Maybe some peanuts too. Happy days!

I love melted Brie wrapped in salami. Feels so wrong!

I've not really been inspired to eat properly last week due to being far too busy and running around after everyone else

Things should settle back down from tomorrow so I may start playing with food again soon - weather needs to be colder too to motivate me!

Eggs and bacon
Chicken Caesar salad
Lettuce wrapped doner kebabs. Yum!!

Will have scratching later. I am addicted to them although not all pork rind was created equal!

Is it not hot where you are? The only upside of the heat is that I am not eating.

Actually, today was the coolest day for weeks.

It takes me a long time to adjust to high temperatures and humidity, but I may have got there...

I made whipped cream, added chopped toasted hazelnuts then drizzled melted 85% choc over it and gently folded it in. It was wonderful!!!

Breakfast: Wensleydale and spring onion omelette

Lunch: cheddar. Walnuts. Fennel tea

Dinner: dry-fried halloumi, spicy salsa, Deb's salad dressing, leaves

Pud: strawberry veg jelly, whipped cream, gooseberries

I think I used the wrong kind of green chilli in the salsa - it blew my head off. Had to make some of Deb's dressing to use as a fire extinguisher. Nice salsa though - had a pinch of garam masala in it which gave it a great flavour.

Rob - that's a winner!

Bacon and scram eggs, coffee

Kebab wrapped in romaine lettuce, coleslaw, diet coke

Cream, melted choc. Mmmmm

Steamed salmon salad. Tiny portion and v filling.

More cream and melted choc plus four strawbs.

Better water consumption today.

Am somehow in ketosis - quite shocked given the recent increase in carbs....;)
