Ooo what's that? lol
Bovine (and porcine) insulin are the animal insulins we used to use up until the 80s when we were told (by the marketing weasels) that we would either: A) catch mad cow (or mad pig) disease or: B) there were not enough cows and pigs and we would soon run out of insulin if we didn't start using the new artificially made 'Human' insulins (which were heavily patented) ;)

Novorapid. Just got mine from chemist today and they've changed the packaging - it was in a nice neat fitting box now it's in a bigger box and differnent text font on it. Why change - arghhh.

Apidra - I THINK this the fastest acting insulin you can get at the moment.

Thought so hehe! How you finding it? x
Getting there I think!
Did some basal testing and think I've cracked it. I've set two different ones for days at work and for days off. So far so good!
Thanks for asking :)

I was on Humalog then changed to Hypurin Porcine Neutral.

I keep Humalog in an injection pen for emergencies, but my pump has had the porcine insulin for a couple of years now.
