I know this is a global community of support, and I wanted to share that the Canadian Diabetic Association needs our help.

They have started a charter to improve the rights of diabetes patients living in Canada. They need 6700 more signatures to reach their goal.

Would you take 1 minute to read the charter and show your support by signing it?

I'm supporting this cause because I see all the support raised for ALS by the ice bucket challenge and I want to do something to help diabetes patients get the help they need. If you can take 1 minute and make a difference, please sign this charter.

Yes, I like that very much, though as a non Canadian I don't think it is appropriate to sign
There is also an IDF charter which I think it is based on http://www.idf.org/sites/default/files/Charter-of-Rights-EN.pdf
I've found that in France the concepts of rights but equally of responsibilities is much stronger than in the UK both I think are important.
