Sorry mate! The little uns are having a great time getting me to do things I haven't done in a long time!
A few of my neighbours have had replacement surgery and they are running around like kids!

No they are not! They are good to be true, no horror stories, or they are not saying!

Lost my appetite, had apiece of toast, Bergen, an apple and a couple of pork chops all day! Oh had a couple of spoons of Greek yoghurt. Must be the tablets. Bloods fine! Even though it doing me good I miss eating as one off life's pleasures! Ho hum!

Ignorant people, diabetes!
Hope you weren't literally sitting on the grandkids mate, if you were it's probably a good job you're so trim now!!

My Mum's had a knee replacement (her problems weren't from playing football like mine though!), and she's more mobile than she has been for years. I can't have mine now because they last 10-15 years and I'd probably have to have another one, it's all because of cost really.

I'm quite lucky with what I eat really, I still have loads of stuff that I like and I don't now really miss the **** that I used to sling down my neck, what I do miss is the spontaneity.

As we've said before, ho hum!

I hope you are practising your limp to get some sympathy!

I have recently found some meatballs from Tesco with fennel with tin of tomatoes does nowt to my BSLs.

Second tablet appears to have the same effect as one, still no hypos or hypers! I just won't eat to go hyper. Still eating like a rabbit!

Kids footie season starts this weekend and our last pre season friendly is tommorow night. We should do well.

I would love to go accrington Saturday but no lift! One of the few grounds not been to!

Currently watching Boston legal rerun on universal. Brilliant fun!

Ho hum mate. Long john silver has nowt on you!

Sh!t the bed mate, that there is some chuffing brilliant numbers!!!

Must admit I'm so bored right now (not working etc) I'm eating loads of ****. When I test my bloods I'm rarely over 6, but I feel myself get high almost as soon as I start scoffing ****. Do I test then? Do I hell!!

I've got to tell someone, I play darts on Tuesday nights, we play best of 3 in the singles, won my first leg comfortably, was struggling in the second leg, opponent was WAY ahead of me, hit my first ever 180 which left me 80, then hit 20 20 Tops :woot:

Wow! Great finish! My best ever was 180 followed by treble ten, tops. That was against a super league player! That was a good thirty years ago!!!!!!!
Can't play no more, thumbs gone! Use to play most nights if not on shifts. Use to have a league in work as well! That was when you could go out and not worry if you were breaking the bank.
Happy days!;);)

I try and not eat **** cos it makes me feel ****! And I hate cooking, it's difficult to find something you're comfortable with! I'm made up with cooking an omelette!

Chin up!

I was searching for some idea for a new thread, you know, when I was posting about how my battles with doctors and the unbelievable prospect of being RH!

I noticed that it is now well over four years ago that I first started this thread.
Wow!
Where has that time gone?
I can't believe that I'm still here!
I only wanted to know how this condition could be controlled by diet despite the advice I had got from my long line of doctors, dsns and one so called specialist.
I am so grateful to those who helped, encouraged and steered me through my early RH newbie years.

I'm so humbled by the great threads and forum that we started.
The numbers for a rare unknown condition is truly remarkable.
And from all over the world!
Wow!:):):):dummy::rolleyes:
