Spiders, control freaks, untidiness, ignorance.
How long can a boiled egg last in the fridge?

Cooked a couple today with my poached eggs to use them up but can't eat them all straight away.

Thanks

Probably a week if they are hard boiled and kept refrigerated. :sour:

A week should be fine, but no more that.

If they smell bad, toss them out. Or at someone you don't like.:angelic:

To be honest there isn't much I dislike. One thing does spring to mind though, waking up to a dark, wet, windy day. I say, "roll on summer"!!
Goodness, I should think a week a bit too long. I would say if properly covered etc., they should be fine until the next day but no longer.

unshelled would be shorter.
there is probably some definitive food safety site somewhere.
raw ones have a month or so in a shell, so boiled and still in the shell should be good for a week.

Well, I boiled 3 eggs on Saturday, shelled them and refrigerated them overnight, took them on a 20 km hike on Sunday (ate one), put the remaining two back in the fridge, then ate them today (Wednesday) and they were fine.:wacky:
