Paddy is working on a building site and at dinner time all the lads on the site go into the port-a-cabin and bring out their sarnies and flasks. Paddy is amazed when he sees all the hot tea and coffee being poured out of the flasks. "Bejaysus!" says Paddy, “how does dat tea and coffee stay hot in dat little bottle?" One of the lads says, “They’re what you call thermos flasks Paddy, they keep hot things hot and cold things cold". "Well, oi never", said Paddy, "dat’s fantastic! Dey keep hot things hot and cold things cold, oi don’t believe it. Where would I buy one?" The lads tell him he can buy one in any supermarket. The next day Paddy comes onto the building site waving his thermos flask, saying, “Oi’ve got one fellers, oi've got one".
One of the lads says, "That's great Paddy, what have you got in it?"...Paddy says, "Two cups of coffee and a choc ice!"
