Oh I agree lol. It makes drop offs hard though which is why I avoid them.

Yes Saturday is good for me. Don't work Saturdays. Will confirm it with my partner tomorrow. Hopefully she hasn't made plans and not told me lol

Right, are we still on for Saturday? If so, what time suits? I was thinking meeting about 11am in the car park at Carron Valley OR meeting at a location and then head up in a convoy - if so - how about the car park at the Granada Services at Junction 9 of the M9 motorway?

Almost last call for those interested in coming along (or those who can make it along) - 11am at the car park - it's £3 parking (allegedly the money all goes to trail uplkeep but that is debatable!) - I'll be on a white Whyte with a blue helmet with orange and dark glasses.

Well the bike has now been washed - the strange creaking noise wasn't me knees but the new bottom bracket...suspect I've managed to knackered the bearings in it already!

I really enjoyed yesterday - I was utterly burst for the first wee leg warm-up but felt a bit better on the actual ride...legs were sore and speed wasn't present but it was good having a leisurely pedal and chat.

I hadn't realised the pub had changed to a guest house either!

Unsure of next location, but open to ideas...need to sort a date for the next ride as well!

Well I'm not sure what my Saturday availability will be like soon because I'm going to be driving for an agency on a sat but I'm free 2 Sundays per month!

A few suggested location (I'm not going to suggest Glentress or Laggan as they both have felling going on) -

Comrie Croft - erm...Comrie - up the A9 past Dunblane then kind of turn left for about 20 minutes!
Carron Valley - Denny
Dumyat (old-skool and 'proper' mtbing as it isn't a trail centre!) and the surrounding area) - Stirling
Beecraigs (my memory of the routes is properly sketchy but it's a decent place for an explore). - 'Linlithgow'
Blairadam (really can't remember any trails there but I have a contact that I'm sure could furnish me with details!) - Fife

Beecraigs isn't really worth the trip as its about 20 mins long and only 1 loop lol

I've had a couple of hours playing in there before, just need to know the routes (but I can't remember them just now - might do a check on Strava!)...however, I'm happy to go elsewhere, need to see who can make it and where we are going!

I'm happy to go anywhere. Have my diesel machine back so fuel consumption isn't a worry. My girlfriends car used half a tank going to denny and back!
