I'd like to spend several months travelling America. Travel route 66 and seea real cowboy would be at the top of things to do, maybe visit new orleans....... I could go on and on

So.

Anyone got one?

I have a few things, the main one, (I'm a Beach Boys fan) is to compile a list of places mentioned in their songs.
Then go there.


First one is to hear the bells of Notre Dame at Christmas, but only as it's the closest place in their songs.
And for the rest, I probably need to learn to surfboard first, but some are good dive spots as well.

My brothers favourite group, the beach boys, pet sounds favourite album. Forced to listen whilst in our bedroom.i do like the sound! In my room, then I kissed her, heroes and Villains my favourites!
I haven't got a bucket list, I would like to see so many places, mostly out of this world!

I don't have a bucket list as I'm convinced I'm unlikely to regret the things I haven't done after I've died. I'm also extremely unlikely to remember them either.

But I can't really decide where, because I want to go EVERYWHERE that isn't too hot.

And I want to live happily ever after, with Mr B.

And I would quite happily give up work.
Tomorrow.
Life is too d*mn short to be wasting it 9-5.

But then, like noble head, I need a lottery win to finance my interests, hobbies, travels and enthusiasms.

Top of my bucket list is a trip around the Scottish Islands visiting neolithic sites - Scarra Brae, Ring of Stennes, Calanish etc etc. My bible is Julian Copes Modern Antiquarian which lists over 350 sites around the uk which he visited and photographed over 7 years or so. Brilliant book

20 years ago when I was diagnosed T2 we decided to travel the world I am not sorry for that decision . We see travelers on our trips who are on oxygen and wonder how they can still enjoy .traveling .so my advice go ad long as you have your health !

Top 10 things on my bucket list (have managed to cross out just 3 till now):

1. Go scuba diving (done)
2. Climb a mountain
3. Start my own baking business
4. Fly in a hot air balloon
5. See the Aurora Borealis (Northern Lights) for real
6. Get a pet (my labrador Soda is my life - done)
7. Write a book and get it published
8. Learn how to knit a full sweater (am halfway through - so done)
9. Learn how to fly a kite
10. Visit a volcano (and return in one piece)

I would love to build and design my own bungalow .
Am very creative and adore interior design .

Would hire the whole building team from ones
that have done work on my present house .
Know their workmanship is good and they know my style
and tastes well already .

I so love DIY projects and will happily do a couple
per year every year .
The bungalow would be my forever home .

Hubbys office/study will be at rear of the bungalow overlooking
the garden .
Already moved into it - in my head - and know what will go where !

Till it really happens - I will keep dreaming .
