Give me your ticket, I'll go!!!

LOL, already promised elsewhere.

Not sure how I feel about this game. Hope team confidence, fitness and form is high enough for the Hammers to give a good account of themselves but Aguero's performance at Spuds was awe inspiring!

Museum of science and technology is always a good visit.
My son absolutely loves the science museum in London so I had already noted the Science Museum as one of the places to visit. Especially if the Manchester weather live up to its reputation. So adding this to the list that already includes the National Football museum and a tour of the Etihad. And of course let's not forget the game itself!

As we will only there for three days, I think that's should have me and the son covered and allow the wife plenty of free time to discover the local shopping arcades.

Got back from Brussels late last night. Rubbish game, great result, amazing 2 minutes:D

We got off the tube before the match and couldn't find the ground, asked a shopkeeper and he said 'par là' and pointed. So we walked to the park and went round the lake to the right. This apparently was the way the Anderlecht fans had to go, so we made our way the other way round the lake, finally found the ground, had tickets inspected several times and then were sent to the wrong entrance. Found the right entrance but weren't allowed in. Found an official from Arsenal and she took us to the right entrance again and they let us in to wait for ages.

I had to queue separately because there was a ladies entrance lol there were about 20 women and 1080 men! The facilities were awful, the ladies' loo was a portaloo and the men's were just very old urinals. The refreshments were like those at a smaller club in the Conference. Forest Green's facilities are 10 times better. The seats were OK, but not enough leg room to actually sit on them (much worse, even, than the away end at Old Trafford).

Being kept in for 15 minutes (singing) and then being escorted to the underground station and then through the station to the train by police with dogs and police in riot gear was the best bit. The atmosphere was brilliant. There were also lots of police on horseback escorting us from the ground. lol the horses were more trouble than the fans, they kept getting spooked by the singing. One panicked and charged through us at one point.

Great trip!

Looking for a win or draw at Ipswich tomorrow afternoon and keep the unbeaten run going. It would be nice if we could beat the 43 unbeaten run we had 3 years ago.Wishful thinking i know but it could happen

World Cup 2022: European clubs want May date for Qatar finals

By Richard ConwayBBC Radio 5 live sports news correspondent
Europe's biggest football clubs could ask world governing body Fifa to play the Qatar 2022 World Cup in May.

Good idea but they would have to wait till the FA cup had been played which is usually 2nd Sat in May then theres the Play off's at Springbank. They would have to play them sooner.

That's sounds like many a trip I've had in this country, the worst Brighton at there temporary ground, absolute scandal, clubs at time were often refused admission to the football league because of theirs not being up to standard. £20 to stand in a temporary seating stand 100 metres from the corner flag, night game and because it was absolutely lashing down you couldn't see the other goal!!
You had to park and ride about 5 miles away! Not enough buses especially going back. Portaloos from the Triassic period, didn't leave Brighton till after 11.30, got home 4am soaking wet!
Many more like that, Blackpool about 15 years ago in particular!

I'll be happy with those results. I do hope Arsenal win at Sunderland - it's a very long round trip - speak to you on Sunday!
