Before I was told, I would eat everything had a cholesterol of 200, BG fasting 138 . Doctor said try diet only no meds dumpt all the junk food, processed meats, bread, rice, potato, for 3 months and re tested cholesterol gone up to 235 BG fasting 103. I dont understand why Cholesterol has gone up, the doc said drop the eggs and cheese. I am 5ft 8 71 kg exercise 6 days a week. Stopped the eggs and cheese now, although I know many people say its ok, but have to try something A normal day now would be Greek yoghart with almond nuts and a few blueberrys, lunch small steak or duck breast with veg, evening maybe lean pork with fresh toms, spinach garlic and onions. no snacks in between. I live in Thailand ,and get all my info from the net, but that can be a minefield. Is 103 good? how can i get it better? and what value is OK 2 hours after a meal 1 site says BGF 90-130, 2 hours after meal up to 180 seems a bit strange to me. anyway all help welcome.
