Hi All,

I have been diabetic for 15 years. I have been storing my insulin in a cupboard for 5 / 6 years now, and haven't noticed anything untoward.

Does anyone else do this, or has anyone done this previously and had issues?

Kind regards

Lucky you live in the uk, In australia a T1 relative had bad hypos and uncontrolled BG for years...it stopped when the Dr found he left them out of the fridge,
keep it in the fridge, but it shouldn't freeze

I've been feeling pretty tired related. I have a feeling it's related to my insulin, even though my BS has been good.

I think I'll get a fresh box from the pharmacy and store it in the fridge and see if any changes are observed.

I'm in the UK. Keep it in the fridge. Don't take a chance with your health and well-being. And yes, don't let it freeze. I have a fridge thermometer I keep in contact with my insulin. It's only good for around 30 days at room temperature.
