Pain in the lower limb stump below the socket

Two years ago I suffered an amputation supracondylar caused by arterial occlusion after successive bypasses. I am a diabetic (Type 1) person for nearly fifty years. For a year and half, I am trying to walk with my orthopedic leg.

After visiting several orthopedics and trying many types of sockets, I can not avoid pain in the stump after a few steps, what prevents me from progressing in rehabilitation and fitting.

In the opinion of a specialist it can be related to my diabetes, not with prosthetic Sockets. They have done me electroneurogramas and many x-rays. No bone or Neuropathies.

It is not a phantom limb pain.

Someone like me?

Hi Clive, tahnks for your response.
My blood sugar is quite well (130-140) for a 50 years being diabetic and my glycosilated hemoglobine is also quit well 6-7.
Any lchf regime I need.
That it to say, I think ther is no problem between my diabetic status and the pain. But ................

Hi gedelauve, can you give a breakdown of your lchf diet over the last week ? My own experiences have taught me that bs levels of 5.5 are required to ease neuropathy . ( in my case)
As I do not know all your diabetic history and treatments, I cannot advise you what to do, and only you can follow advices offered, have you talked to any others who have similar problems? Best wishes of the season to you gedelauve ::))

Good afternoon, Clive and thanks for your comments.
Seeing the medical tests and the glycosilated hemoglobine level, my Neurologist and my Endocrin specialist, confirm that no reuropathy is present in my stump. Pain appears only when the stump is pressed by the socket.

I don't think I am going to be any help at all but I am curious. Is the pain because you are placing your weight on the stump or does the pain appear elsewhere? I ask because it seems I don't understand your problem enough.

It is mainly when the stump presses the socket, few steps from teh begining
