Two years ago I suffered an amputation supracondylar caused by arterial occlusion after successive bypasses. I am a diabetic (Type 1) person for nearly fifty years. For a year and half, I am trying to walk with my orthopedic leg.
After visiting several orthopedics and trying many types of sockets, I can not avoid pain in the stump after a few steps, what prevents me from progressing in rehabilitation and fitting.
In the opinion of a specialist it can be related to my diabetes, not with prosthetic Sockets. They have done me electroneurogramas and many x-rays. No bone or Neuropathies.
It is not a phantom limb pain.
