I have been reading that porridge is a no no and I have been having it about 3 times a week, some days I have shredded wheat. As my cholesterol was 7.2 I am trying not to eat to much fat, I see people eat eggs and bacon quite a lot for breakfast. Example my meals today are. Porridge for breakfast followed by 40minute walk with my dog. Chicken, new potatoes and veg for lunch ( is gravy allowed ) and a ham and salad sandwich for tea with a sugar free jelly and fruit for desert. Does this seem ok. I had a BS level on Wednesday of 4.2. I do not have a monitor and I am seeing the nurse on the 6th Feb. Advice appreciated.
