Same here, very cold wind, gusty and did I say bloody cold.
It's what is known as a lazy wind, goes straight through you instead of going around!!

It was hacking down with rain earlier on but that's now cleared away and there is bright sunshine, albeit with a stiff breeze. Was about 9 degrees Celsius but it's dropping, with the clearing skies, and is predicted to be below zero tonight. Looks beautiful, so I am going out for a walk whilst conditions allow.

Another five months and it will be summer again (I understand that it's been scheduled for 18th or 19th June in the UK, this year :D)

Central (ish), South Coast (ish: inland a bit) UK. ;)

Hey! You are going overboard a bit there! I've heard the 13th July 2pm will actually get over 15 degrees!

You people are boasting!! We keep getting the promise of global warming!
There is global warming, however us Brits are going to get colder, wetter and windier than ever before! We will get the extremes like never before.
Last summer was the warmest for a long long time, hope you made he best of it!

We had half an inch of very wet snow before midnight last night
(the puppy thought it was edible, the dear little twit)

But it has mainly gone, by now.

Very disappointing.
Why do I always end up living in parts of the country that avoid weather extremes?
You all enjoy so much more interesting weather!

Hi carb Foods
A little snow, Unfortunately as Lancs CC live on the plains,in Preston, the Pennine areas don't get gritted so the schools are shut.

really blustery last night and snow was swirling round under the lamp post lights. This morning first thing, snow all over the roads, traffic at a stand still until the gritters came and now the roads are mainly clear. Forecast snow again for later.

Bright and sunny here in Hell Coventry. Looks like it wants to snow though - could make for a fun journey home this evening!
