4.9 on waking. Waiting for my eyes (blurry during the day but not constant) to keep up to the lower numbers.
Have a great day guys and girls
My eyes get blurry as well.. I've just been to the eye specialist who tells me there is nothing wrong with my eyes... Do we know what causes it? Or helps it? It seems to come and go with no reason that I can see.. pardon the pun...4.9 on waking. Waiting for my eyes (blurry during the day but not constant) to keep up to the lower numbers.
Have a great day guys and girls
AndBreathe has started a thread for people with codefree - 44 I think seems to be the problem...4.8 still a little lower that my normal 5's in the morning, have been using my accu meter for a couple of weeks since my surgery allows me 1 tub of strips every 2 months and thought I might as well use them.
Back to codefree shortly , not sure with what if been reading here recently I am to happy about that.
Will have to check the codes and then we shall see.
Have a good day everyone.
Cool...Well.....5.4 at bedtime and 5.4 fasting!!
Kept my strips under the duvet again
Interesting while on my date last night, ended up going for an Indian, I did a quick test before eating and was 5.8 ( had just had a decent walk to get there) I knew I wasn't going to have rice or naan.....pedantic me as ever! I had:
A poppadoms (yikes!!) Yogurt and mint to dip
Lamb rogan Josh
Mushroom bhaji
2 hrs 5.9
3 hrs 5.4 !!
Pretty fine evening all round actually ; )
Glad to know you get your eyes checked Mike. I am starting to feela bit better everyday. A friend is giving me a lift to church this morning which will be great
I'm now 3 weeks into no meds and just lchf and exercise, not quite 7 months after diagnosis, was on 1 forxiga a day. So far so good, levels not really changed and still losing weight !Some of the folks on this forum ditched carbs almost altogether and the Metformin with it... It could be worth asking their advice as they've already 'been there, done that' and succeeded... am on no meds and low-carbing and hope to sustain my good BG levels that way for as long as possible... I learned from everyone on this forum to begin with and then researched low-carb recipes - there are some wonderful sites to use...I personally don't miss carbs at all... except maybe my own apple pie, but I now make it with almond pastry, which is lush...
I've put mine up!9.1 this morning. I am going to have to reduce my cream consumption for defo :-(
