Government is what's wrong.
Same as what's wrong with education.
Governments of left right and centre cannot stop interfering.
They have unqualified and often unelected people interfering.
The NHS needs a trimmed down decent management system.
The wards need matrons and nurses.
Matron should be hiring and firing the cleaning staff.
I'm in my sixties and every general election something is going to be done about education.
Something is going to change about education.
It's always a problem.
A problem that is never resolved just experimented with.
We have unqualified people calling the shots.
We have an idiotic system that seems designed to promote idiocy .... idiocy in suits.

And just look what their plans are now... Manchester Council controlling budgets as a trial of £6 billion pound... More over paid management tiers going to be created and no doubt less people doing the work!

I try hard not to get political but but but .... I look at the likes of Cameron ... Eton toff married into the Rothschild family.
Multi millionaire landowner who doesn't need the wages.
Doesn't need the job.
Doesn't care about you me or the country.
He cares about and works for the capitalist business class.
Miliband .... millionaire lawyer who doesn't need the job.
Doesn't need the wages.
Clegg ... millionaire who doesn't need the job or the wages.
So out of touch with reality that when he came to power as Camerons fag he was asked if he knew what the state pension was.
Not exactly he said but I'll guess at around thirty five pounds a week!
Thirty five quid a week that he thought was generous!
No wonder they think a person on fifty quid a week benefits is sitting pretty.
These people don't know the price of a loaf.
These people are hobbyist politicians.
The whole structure is a joke that is against the interests of you and me.
It's rammed down your throat that this is democracy ... this is the best we can do folks.
What it is is a system of management for the establishment that never changes whoever you elect.
We can elect different styles of management.
We can elect unqualified people.
This guy is health secretary this week education secretary next week foriegn affairs home affairs in charge of armed forces and hey presto chancellor of your money.
Without a single qualification.
This is the best we can do folks .... garbage in garbage out.

I cannot see why our systems are so **** bad to be honest.

So is the NHS free? We have Medicare which is free to those who aren't employed (for whatever reason); otherwise it's 2% of gross income for the employed. Some things are totally covered by Medicare but others we pay for and get a percentage back from Medicare.

Then there's private healthcover which costs an arm an a leg and you get ****** all back half the time. E.g. I went to the dentist on Friday, had a crown and a filling, covered by private health cover and had to pay the gap of $995!!

Yes in UK its free but the length of time between the individual Counties or indeed Hospitals varies enormously.
How long does it take you with paying to get an appointment and then results?

Generally if you need an xray or ultrasound you would get an appointment within 48 hours. Like I said before, you can wait at the practice for a couple of hours and take the xrays and results with you, or they can be sent to your doctor's. Results are emailed to the GP next morning. So a quick turnaround... but maybe we "get what we pay for". Maybe the NHS is **** because it's free?

It's not free we all pay for it.
It's free at point of delivery but not for much longer I fear.

Had it confirmed today- the expected waiting times for xrays are... 15 days.

If the patient is concerned... Wait for it... They are expected to go back to GP who is now to email a specific person, using a specific form to ask for a speedier response. The person then receiving this email will then "try to see" if the xray can be expedited..(no guarantee)

Then the patient has to wait to obviously try to book another appt with GP after seeing whether xray results can be hurried up....

Sorry.... This is pure stupidity in this day of technology. Our PPG have now got some person dealing with xray gp urgent requests with a guarantee of speeding things up!!

Then GP's are having to waste more of their time form filling and patients aren't even aware of the systems they've introduced.

I am so annoyed!!!
