Back in January I started on a Low Carb Diet. I decided to stick to between 90g-130g of carbs a day, to see where it got me. Just before making this decision I had been to my clinic at the hospital and was told my A1c was 10.2; It has never been that high before, even when they discovered I was Diabetic.
So I went back today for another check up.. I have lost just over a stone now and my A1c was 7.5. Happy doesn't cover it!
Proves just with some little lifestyle changes things can be improved.. now the talks have gone away from starting me on insulin which I am very pleased about.
