Okay, don't laugh, but I have developed a new exercise plan - it came about through my knees being so sore when I went out for a run and I was too pig headed to turn back and go home. So.....I run backwards! No pain in my knees AND it's actually really good exercise (and far more tiring!) I have now developed a run where I run between the telephone poles forwards, then backwards, then side to side, then high energy skipping! It certainly brings colour to my cheeks (though that is also from the embarrassment when I get spotted acting like an idiot!)!
I shall never run entirely forwards again and am converted to a new way of viewing the world. My hubby and I are hopeful that running backwards is also a bit like running the clock back - i could literally be running myself younger!
