I would say black (cheapest!)
Or almond milk (acquired taste).
I have double cream in coffee to give me a fat boost. Also it's nice.

Good question.....just one coffee for me with skimmed milk and sweetners puts my BG up from 5.1 to 5.8 so I was about to ask the same question

I have tried it with double cream but it doesn't look appetising how much do you put in and is there a particular way you put the cream in. Thanks

@Viv0147, it would depend on the quantity of milk used in your tea and coffee as to whether it effects your bg levels, I just have a little splash of milk and it has a negligible effect on my bg levels, but if you would rather use cows milk over the likes of Almond milk then look for the Lactofree milk in the supermarkets, it has around half the carbs as standard milk.
