I was thinking of putting something like the cup final squads on a different thread, then posters could choose one, and whomever picked the first goalscorer would win.
No prizes, just for fun.

Hi and welcome to the football thread.

I do intend to start another football thread next season, this season was, to see if there was interest to get posters on thoughts on their footie team and predictions.

Keep posting and the banters not bad.

Pain, you don't know the meaning of pain!
Try and support a team that only won 9 games last season, half of them away.
And not many the season before.
I've forgotten what it is like to compete!

Good job I've got my youth clubs team.

Funny story!

Went to our league's presentation this week.
About the fourth team to be given their medals, one of them tripped and went **** over elbow into the table with the rest of the trophies. Spilling them all over the floor. Some broke but not ours.
Had to have a break for ten minutes. Then carried on. My whole team were rolling in laughter. The whole room about 300 kids and parents didn't know what to do. The lad was red faced, but ok and everyone give him a round of applause. Everyone was laughing except the committee.

It wasn't funny,

It was! Hilarious!

Some people don't care for him but I like the guy, although he was slightly intoxicated (;)) in the Awards night video you could feel his passion for football and the club in general, hope he stays the course........

Here we go with the last day of the Premiership will it be Hull or Newcastle that gets relegated i guess we shall find out in about 2 1/2 hours time.
