We'll call it 5.0 for every day for our records.

Who does keep the official records by the way ??

That's incredibly kind of you @britishpub , most appreciated. I don't know who keeps the official records, maybe it's in the ledger that St Peter has with him at the pearly gates (other faiths will have similar ledgers I'm sure!)

Bullies, discrimination of any kind, bad manners, parents who let their kids run amok & spoil things for everyone else, unkind spiteful people, being a clumsy clod, toast crumbs in the bed, cold feet!!
Hope you folks are having a good Thursday. BG 5.0 fasting this morning. Feeling pretty shabby today though. Puking for England & there's a **** rock concert going on inside my head. Hmmm...lovely! Blooming cold, rainy & dull in Newcastle. Plus, I've got a weird burning sensation in my big toes. All in all, a blooming horrible day. Hope you're having a better one than me. Best wishes and good health everyone. :bag:

Hi Folks

5.2 for me this morning, somewhat better than of late.

I have been feeling generally off-colour for the last few days though and I have noticed before that fighting a bit of a cold tends to raise my levels, bit better today so lets hope its onwards and downwards..

I notice there was some "feet talk" by posters yesterday. I've never been given the option of seeing a Chiropodist. Is it something you have to request from your DSN or is it part of the screening process? @photognut...just noticed one of your posts on here about chiropodist visit. Are you able to help me with this query? Thanks. :)

I had my podiatrist appointment in July diagnosed Feb 2015 and this was urgent not that is was any help other than saying I needed even tighter control and my GP says I have tight control so no help at all. Ask GP or nurse to check if they have made a request. Eye test I think you have had and also an education program. My education program is Desmond and later this month. All these were requested for me in February.

Hi @Alisonjane10,

The skin, circulation and nerve supply of your feet should be examined annually. You should be told if you have any risk of foot problems, how serious they are and if you will be referred to a specialist podiatrist or specialist foot clinic.

In some areas of the U.K. you can self refer to a podiatrist and it is always best to see your G.P. about any cuts or bruises as some foot problems develop quickly.

These are the HealthCare Checks that you should be getting.

Hi Alison, I had an appointment with my back clicking, neck crunching Chiropractor this week. I have never been to a chiropodist so I can't help you on that one, sorry.

@Alisonjane10 and @catherinecherub thank you for highlighting this. I've had two eyes examinations since being diagnosed, not offered a foot check up. I have nerve damage caused by spinal stenosis and a few collapsed discs that have reduced reflex reactions in knees and feet.... providing I don't have to see a DN, I might just put it on my accumulating can I have list :) Thanks!

Blooming heck! I'm embarrassed to say I lost my reading glasses earlier & didn't read your post carefully enough. I thought you'd posted that you had a forthcoming chiropody appointment, rather than the Chiropractor visit you actually did have. Guess my eyes are going too. Oh dear.

Thank you for this information @catherinecherub. I'll take some time & check through the links that you've given. It is kind of you to provide them for me, Unfortunately, i appear to be experiencing what I suspect is Sensory Peripheral Neuropathy that is causing some pain. I'd like to get treatment before it progresses further. Much appreciated.

I'm hoping you don't have peripheral neuropathy @Alisonjane10 , cos my experience with it has been horrible. I have it in one leg following an injury to my shin, and have been shocked how much it can hurt :( I now use Lidocaine patches on the affected area as well as taking carbamazepine.
