Same happens to me but only during the Christmas period when I don`t have much work to do. I also stop walking because of the bad weather. But as soon as I return to the normal routine, my blood sugar levels go back to as they were before the christmas period.

Thanks for your reply. Over here in Malta we do not have Levemir. In my opinion Lantus is not helping with my fasting AM blood tests. I know somebody who lives abroad and uses Levemir with very good fasting results.

May I ask why are you switching from Lantus to Levemir please?

Whenever I tested during the night, the result was always above 8 mmol. But I also noticed that if I go to sleep at about 11pm ( I usually go to sleep at around 9 pm or even before this) I would have a better Fasting result of about 7MMOL.

6.2 before bed and 12.8mmol at 5am. Is it the Dawn P? This is ongoing. I have perfect blood sugar results during the day. But Fasting is always between 9 and 13 mmol. My specialist will soon be providing me with a 24 hours blood sugar monitor. Any comments please?
