    Type 2 and Diverticulitis

Hi everyone, it's been a while since I visited the forum so bear with me. As the title says, I have Type 2 and Diverticulitis and I'm wondering if anyone else does. I was diagnosed with Type 2 in 2015 and to start off with I was well controlled using the low carb diet, but then I had my first...

I wanted to let everyone know that I'll be busy for a little while. I've been accepted on a training course run by Capita. The course lasts for 3 weeks and is followed by a 2 week work placement and an interview for an admin job. I'm nervous and excited at the same time! The course starts on...

Thanks @JohnnyBaker12021970 and @ickihun, I had a great day. I made a couple of flower brooches made out of fabric and A was fine because he had just downloaded The Sims on his laptop and was enjoying creating lots of new characters :) I rang him at lunchtime just to make sure he was OK so I was...

Hi everyone, sorry I haven't been posting but I've had a busy week. I've been spending a lot of time with my brother Michael including taking him to the doctor yesterday. It was a good appointment, I was able to tell the doctor that Michael hasn't had any more fits since the last time we saw him...

I've been tired myself because of looking after Michael. Thankfully he seems to have turned a corner so I took him to the doctors to discuss our next steps in his care. The doctor agreed that the increase in his fits is worrying so he referred us back to the neurologist and suggested that I get...

I was knitting blanket squares for an arts festival in my area but the picnic was last weekend so now I can get back to selfish knitting! At the moment I'm working on a cardigan and a pair of socks

I shall have to try your tip with roast potatoes Johnny, they sound delicious! I wanted to say Michael is my brother, but don't worry about getting them mixed up it's an easy mistake to make.

It sounds like you had a wonderful time Johnny, my son loves trips to the seaside even though he suffers from anxiety. His way of coping is to record a video log of our travel so he doesn't feel too anxious about going somewhere different. You are very lucky to have such generous friends

I wish I could enjoy the lavender too, unfortunately it's one of the worst triggers for my hay fever! I have to walk past a large lavender bed every time I walk into town and I always get the watery eyes, runny nose and the sneezes!
