I would ask for a second opinion here, probably by an endocrinologist. Two fasting readings over 7 mmols or random over 11.1 mmols with family history and/or other symptoms can mean a diagnosis.... but I really think you need to ask to see a specialist to get an accurate diagnosis. I'd ask...
