Hi About two weeks ago got round to having a lunch time time pizza and checked blood every hour and it was stable(around 5 mmol) for around 3 hours then shot up, just as the novarapid finsished~!!! So thanks Stu need to do as you say about 2 hours give another dose. Cheers

Hi, my daughter is Type 1 and nearly 5, we signed a document with the school so we all knew what was expected. The school has been fantastic and we have had no issues but we did deal with the Senco. I suggest you deal direct with the Head and get it all written down and agreed, good luck. JimmyD

Lastest was 7.5 for my daughter....getting better but a long way to go

My daughter has 5.5 units of Levemir at bed time around 7pm and we are using 1 unit of novarapid to 10g carbs. She has around 15 units of novarapid a day. Correction is 1 unit for 5 mmol above 7 mmol.
