A thread to try and get an idea of how many people have had a skin reaction caused by the Abbott Freestyle Libre Sensor.

I was given the Steroid cream 'Mometasone Furoate' by my GP and it has been very successful in treating the irritation caused by the sensors.

You could try a reader self test - Settings, System Status, Reader Test. However it's sounds like a faulty sensor to me I'm afraid.

Are you seeing 'Start New Sensor' on the home screen?

I use Opsite over the top of mine to protect it from the daily shower etc. You can also get Opsite on prescription.
