Hi, I have medtrum nano pump which I love as its tiny, but have not tried their cgm. Their system auto suspends for a low, but is not a hcl system, though I have been told its possible for anyone with technical capabilities (def not me). For info it might be worth checking with your (son's)...

    Medtrum Nano Patch Pump

You could ask about a trial at your clinic, as far as I know there is no contract with medtrum so if it doesn't work out you could ask to change it. I use the pdm not phone so unable to comment there (old and non-techy here)

    Medtrum Nano Patch Pump

Hi @AllyMac70 I've used medtrum nano since Nov last year, I wasn't keen on cavilon, but happy place for me is 2x layers of hypafix tape (cut a hole for the needle) and a patch over the top (because the pump doesn't stick well to the hypafix tape). currently using these covers 10x Freestyle...

    At Risk or Not

As I understand it diabetes (on its own) does not increase your chances of catching C-19, but the outcomes are harder to manage. I would add that often pwd sometimes have other health conditions which may alter their ability to fend off the illness, or cope with it.

Hi @Languagelearner, Accident and Emergency is for life changing/threatening only. If you are unable to find a GP you could ring 111 and they will book you an appointment with a walk-in centre. Hope this helps.

    Shocked by bake off comment

I'm surprised C4 let it go out, there must be more than a few choice words they have to edit out (Jo Brand gets hold of a few of them on Fridays - hilarious). He has retracted it, and has apologised, I'm with @Jim Lahey on this one; deep breath and time to let it go...:singing:

    Night lows

As I understand it your body heals through the night, so no matter what time during the day you exercised your blood sugar will drop through the night as your muscles repair themselves. On the days you exercise you could try reducing your insulin or increasing your carbs (eg supper time)?

    Access to CGMs

Assuming you are in the UK:- NHS - (E I think) have provided additional funding to CCGs, funding is a percentage of the number of T1's in their area. Your CCG is based on your GP and you can find that on a search engine, you could look up the NICE guidelines to get an idea of criteria. The...
